But can we chew with them?
They don't recommend that you eat with them. The reason for this warning is so they don't get sued if people choke. I wasn't successful the first time fitting these. But I am going to give it another try. All of my extractions were done in February. By the end of March I was back to eating solid food. Any meat in crockpot is soft so not having teeth. Is not problem the first thing that I made two weeks after my extractions was enchiladas. Whether you eat with this in is completely your decision. But you have to be extremely careful. These are not designed for chewing anything. Eat slowly and small bites. In my case I am little under weight for my height. So me eating solid food as soon as possible needed to happen. I also have small mouth so my
gums needed to be toughened up. Today be for I went to the dentist. I had hamburger and French fries.I took small bites and ate very slowly. I will admit I miss being able to eat chips. But at least I can eat.

@angelaschaefer5883 thank you for replying. I just found denture rescue where upper and lower are 800 dollars where a real dentist fits them. It is by mail. And patrickdean dent is for 960 dollars also impressions by mail. These materials are professional grade. I'm really hopeful here

Yes this will get me buy until. I can get dentures. If you are like I am. No money look online your county health department. Will have dental clinic where you pay based on income. So you can get your bad teeth pulled. I had infection spread and felt no pain at all. Please learn from mistake.

@@angelaschaefer5883once you pull out your teeth, you need to do something about that gap ASAP. Bone loss happens when there is nothing there to stimulate the bone. Bone loss leads to your face becoming scrunched, like a witch. Don’t leave that space to the point that bone loss is irreversible.

She is smart lady. The first one didn’t work but I found one sale for $15. I am going to try again when I get home. I have my niece and nephew for the entire week. Having no teeth not fun.
@angelaschaefer5883 try denture rescue $800 for both upper and lower or patrick dean dent $960?. Real dentists work on your dentures. They send impressions by mail, and real materials. The cheap diy materials are for show and drinking water but not eating. Start saving up for mail order ones that cut out the middle man costs, rent, employees, etc. God bless you.

I wear a mask every where I go. I'm so embarrassed to be seen in public because of my missing teeth. I'm going to try this! My hands shake so I'm not sure I can do it, but it's worth trying! @angieangiel2666 I actually thought I took care of mine. Brushing daily wasn't enough. I hit 60 and they seriously would either fall out or break off at the gum. In the middle of getting partials, I went through a divorce and there went any dental work. Couldn't afford it. I really pray you are able to get the help you need so you can go into the acting field! Good luck with that!
My hands don't shake but I wasn't successful trying it the first time. But my teeth were pulled at low income dental clinic. Which I am grateful that my infected teeth are gone. That they treated what had the danger of becoming life threatening infection. But it is not fun to have no teeth. If you are having serious problems. Please use Google type low income dental care for adults. The state and town you live in. There will be charities and dental clinics to call. Teeth can be replaced as she just proved very easily. Your life and the people who need you. Are irreplaceable please find someone to help you.
I cried while watching this. I'm missing most of my molars and one of my top front teeth is chipped badly. I'm so embarrassed to smile, or even talk for that matter. My husband and I have never been able to afford dental insurance and we always paid out of pocket for any work that our children needed on their teeth. We'd have to save up for that, so my husband and I went without dental visits so that the kids could have healthy teeth. I have watched the infomercials about getting a whole new set of teeth implanted and knowing this costs thousands of dollars, I cry then too. I'm not sure if you can chew with this quick fix, but at least I can go out and smile again. I'm deeply thankful for your video and the hope you have given us all. ❤
Google low income dental care the state and town you live in. I did the same thing just few months ago. No insurance and no money. I found low income dental clinic to pull the teeth. They charge based on your income. No I don't have dentures they don't do dentures. At places like this. Because I waited way to long. The infection from my broken tooth spread to the bone. My teeth and pieces of infected bone were removed. This type of thing is life threatening. The infection can enter your heart or brain. Which will kill you. I was extremely lucky that my teeth were the only things I lost. Please I beg you and your husband learn from my mistake. Teeth can be replaced. Yes I am embarrassed not having any teeth. This is small price to pay for still being alive.

Are your missing molars on the top or bottom? If it is on the bottom, your top ones will eventually fall out bc there is nothing there to hold it up. That is what’s happening to me right now.
You need to fix your gaps before bone loss is irreversible. It’s not just about ugly missing gaps. Once you lose a tooth, bone loss happens, and your face will eventually squish together like a witch.
If you can’t afford health insurance, why don’t you change your job to one that offers dental health insurance? Or get a temp second job? Or charge it on a card? Or Apply for CARE payments at your dentist office? SOMETHING. Because you WILL have bone loss and it will permanently change your face structure. Don’t think, “I’ll do it later when we can afford it,” because it may be irreversible if you wait too long. You really need to address this issue ASAP.

I create a partial bridge the same way with individual resin teeth I buy on Amazon. I can eat/chew almost anything.

im a little late to the game here, but i wanted to let you know that i appreciate this video as an alternative to the multiple trips, back & forth, to the dentist for the initial molds, the returns for fittings & any visits afterwards for relines & adjustments... im really grateful that my insurance will pay for the dentures, however the trips along side my ptsd, anxiety & agoraphobia, this option is very much in realm of my capabilities... so thank you so very much for the instructions to having a smile i can show instead of practicing in front of the mirror to not show my toothless grin!!!

The knack is to not let the side & back teeth sit/hang/droop low OR bow out; that's the giveaway about any dentures.
You should see mine. They look amazing. I have a great dentist who walked me through picking tooth size and color. They must send it out to really skilled techs because mine fit perfectly and look damn near like my teeth looked before I lost insurance for 15 years. I don’t need denture cream 95% of time. I eat without it all the time. The only situation I use denture cream for is when I go out to eat.

Both myself and my husband don't have any teeth right now. You can Google see if there are any charities that give away dentures. To disabled low income people. Or try and see if there are dental colleges near you. They charge a lot less for dentures then dentist does. I found some dentures on Etsy that are already made. For $350 for full set. Eventually I probably will do that. I can buy soft realign kit for $10. So they hopefully fit when I get them. Which will be at least year. I don't recommend doing it that way to get dentures though. They won't be customized to your mouth. Hopefully there is alternative way to get your dentures for you. In the meantime I already bought set of these so next week I will fit them. Found recipes for my husband and that we can eat for people without teeth. It ridiculous to me that we leave people with no teeth. Can't afford to even have them cleaned. I hope these work for both of us.
Are you on Medicaid? I think you would likely qualify for Medicaid if you’re low income. If you are low income, go apply! Hopefully, you’re in a state with expanded Medicaid. Because Medicaid paid for mine.

We ordered a bottom set from Amazon, they were around $14 Billy Bob's or something. He used those white beads, spread a very thin layer on the underside of the teeth (gum part) and then brought it out thicker around the sides and toward the back. He had to keep warming it up and molding it to his mouth but got there in the end.He uses denture adhesive to keep them in place. Of course you can't eat or drink anything hot but it gives him much more confidence when working with the public.
They have broken in half 3 times so far so just know you may have to spend $14 every few months.

I did it and they're amazing! I think i prob adjusted them 30 times to get it just right and there was no problem doing it that many times. I've noticed no one stares at them either. My only thing, some words are harder to say. Takes a little getting used to but from what I've read, that's a problem with all dentures. Grateful to have found this video!
It takes time to get used to talking with them in. I am having the problems you are.
@@angelaschaefer5883 I found something that helped. I heated them up again and thinned out the roof as much as possible without compromising the integrity of it. That made all the difference for me.
@@angelaschaefer5883the tongue naturally flops around..try adding a layer of beads for support.. keep adjusting the thickness eventually you'll solve it

@@Jezzebel1313 yes! I was cautious at first but now, I don't eat without them in. I wouldn't bite an apple - but I can chew a piece of apple. I have no teeth left on top and only 4 in the bottom - so I'm really able to eat anything I want.

It’s not the fact people have dental insurance, it’s the fact that some people have dental insurance but, they can’t actually get the full set all at once!
You can't even get on a dentists waiting list here in the UK since Covid so this is fantastic and, it is shaped to your individual mouth and you can change it over time if it starts to slip or anything. 5/23/2024 I humbly thank you for this Video. I needed uppers and lowers; your method helped me do both. It now costs about $50.00 for upper, lower and extra beads. A lot cheaper than $3600. Thank you again.
Dentures are only a temporary solution. You need to really do something about your empty space, because you will have bone loss with no stimulation, and you will start looking like a witch. It will get progressively worse. Even when wearing dentures, you will still have that witch look. I seriously suspect this woman already has some bone loss, because she has that witch look even with her dentures; it is already starting to cave in.

Wow. I'm a woman who just decided to retire early at 62 due to a few health issues, and my teeth are one the main reasons, because they are so bad that I have to have most of them pulled. But I haven't yet because I lost my dental insurance, h my teeth are very loose & some have fallen out. The price to even get dentures is way over $10,000. Just to get started. My social security will not cover this unless I no longer want to eat or have a place to live. So thank you you soooo much for this video.❤
Then you need to take this as emergency because it is life threatening. To leave your teeth in this condition. I had the same problem. So I Googled low income dental care for adults. The state and town I live in. They pulled all my teeth. They charged based on our income. Because I waited way too long. The infection spread to bone in my jaw. They removed teeth and bone. Places like this don't do dentures. So I have no teeth at all. I can eat solid food just fine. Making sure it soft enough to eat. Of I am embarrassed not having any teeth. But the next thing this infection was going to take was my life. Any serious problems with teeth. No money or insurance. Will definitely leave you without teeth. But there are lots of ways to replace them. You are irreplaceable help is out there. Not enough help that is still huge problem. Totally worth being infection free no more worries. About life threatening complications. Please take it seriously find someone to pull the teeth.

If I needed this type of work and could scrape up some money, I would go to Columbia, Mexico, Turkey, etc., and get veneers for 75% less than the U.S.

I have done this for 3 yrs now, you can buy colored beads. I use red ones and mix with white to make pink shade for gums. I does not take much of red at all. So my white molding material is pink, works great. Good luck

My husband has alzheimers. Found out he needed all his remaining teeth pulled due to is health. Saved enough and got his upper denture in end of December. He was so excited. He lost the denture 2 weeks later. The dentist was great and agreed to replace them, no charge. He lost those in 5 days. Now that was a "temporary" denture and the permanent one is coming but with this disease not sure this one will last any longer. What an awesome alternative. I will be prepared if he loses these. Thank you so much! This is such a relief and something I could manage financially. I really can't thank you enough!

It was me and I only mentioned eating not drinking. Drinking through straw is perfectly fine. The box says this product is not denture. That is for appearance only. Why would Instant Smile say that?? Because they want avoid being sued. If someone choked death. While eating with this in. Doesn't give me any confidence that it is safe for to eat with it in. The decision to eat with them is your choice to make not mine. If I didn't care about someone choking including you. I wouldn't have said anything about it. I simply trying to inform you. That's all.
I have real dentures. It cost $4000 to get everything done. They are horrible! I only wear them to work and gag a lot. I am embarrassed to go to the store or walk my dog without a mask on. I am very tempted to try these.
I use these beads (10oz container on Amazon) and individual resin teeth (also Amazon) to make a bridge. I eat and drink with no problems. I just remake when the plastic gets stained by certain foods.

I know that I've commented on this video already, but............I wasted $400 on "do it at home dentures" and I don't think I've ever been this depressed. I owe my friend $400 for nothing because they are WAY too big for my mouth, so I thought of your video instantly. I don't know if these will work for me, but I'm praying that they do. I ordered uppers, lowers and extra modeling beads. I pray that these work because my mental health can't take another hit. I started bawling when the $400 dentures didn't fit. I really only need these temporarily, until I'm able to get my permanent dentures (in 4+ months), so I'm praying SO hard that these will work. 🤞 If they do, then you are an absolute angel for showing me how to do this! @gma_tina yes, it was the Easy Denture brand. The dentures themselves look nice, but they are definitely NOT for smaller mouths. I have been dealing with this crap since May, so I absolutely understand your pain. If you have a small mouth, I think Easy Denture would be a waste of money for you. I'm sorry. ☹️
Pls where did you order them. I am 2 years without upper teeth no dentist will fix my veneers I had in but tooth broke off and I used h peroxide that disolved the dental cement or glue and the fell off I paid a lot even though i did it in Colombia. 12 rootcanals and then the porcelain on metal glued in had them for11 years but all dentist want to earn few thousand instead on glue them back with some screws or support. So. I don't do that. I never wanted dentures but it seems like I have to so I gonna try this first I don't want things dancing in my mouth as I speak. Thanks. Pls send the link

Your enthusiasm making this clip was just wonderful..i had to have 1 front tooth removed as i broke it on a hard pizza crust. Thought dentist would be able to just add a bit of composite but no they pulled it out so i have a plate with 1 tooth and so annoying but cant afford a porcelain tooth implant. So for a lot of people your video has probably given them hope to feel better about their selves and smile more..❤❤

You really should not diy something so important, something that requires education. Tooth loss leads to bone loss, which leads to the face scrunching like a witch. Dentures do not stop the bone loss; in fact, it makes it worse.
This is like deciding to diy stitches for yourself.
@@lang-ed3bk some people don't have much choice unfortunately it's about lack of money . We Brits have the NHS but now have no access to dental care . Also people who have dental problems have enough embarrassment without being described as witches . Have a little humility .

Have you ever thought about buying a softliner kit too? I just had my softliner redone and it made such a huge difference! I have amazing suction and don't have to use much adhesive! This is soo awesome! I seriously wish I would have ran across this before I went to get my dentures. Im about 3 weeks out from my denture procedure and my uppers alone were 2000!!! Had to get a partial for my bottoms and it cost more than my uppers! Thank you sooo much for sharing this! They look amazing! ❤ sending you so much love darlin!!! 😁

These temp teeth didn't work for me unfortunately because when the bridge came out, my teeth shifted & 1 of the upper front teeth closest to the front started growing downward & kind of turned outward pushing on my lip. I tried & tried to get it to work, but it just made me look like I had buckteeth because of the 1!! I was so disheartened!
The good thing is that the interview on 4/26 was CANCELED due to the interviewer's flight being delayed! PRAISE THE LORD!! It is RESCHEDULED for Thurs., 5/4, from 1:30pm to 2pm.
It's a ZOOM video interview. I have turned the lighting on my phone just low enough where they can see me, but not my mouth as much. Plus, I'll hold my head down a bit where they can't see it. The only other option I have is wearing a cloth mask, which I hate doing. My trust is in my HEAVENLY FATHER & if this is the MIRACLE door HE has for me, it will OPEN WIDE!

My husband swears by these!. He has missing front teeth and uses these to have a beautiful, perfect smile. I would suggest the natural shade and to be patient to get the perfect fir. Don't eat with them so that they will last longer. This product has boosted my husbands self esteem and got rid of the embarrassment of missing teeth. Thank you for the wonderful demonstration.

As a retired dental hygienist I love this. The price of dentistry is not available for most people. They need it the most. Most dental practices are dependent on insurance which covers only a little bit of the cost. The labor unions are not effective anymore and services that were once expected have gone by the wayside :-) Same for medical :-) Everything is bound by the insurance permits and it is very complicated, especially even for me and I have a MS degree. Used to think I was smart. Not so anymore.
Dentistry is unaffordable. Even for me. RDH
First you are still smart. Try Google search for low income dental care. The state and town you live in. That’s how I found dental clinic to pull my teeth. They charged based on income. You obviously know that if the teeth. Are infected the infection can spread. Becoming life threatening. In my case because I waited too long. Because I didn’t have money. The infection did spread damaging bone too. Please don’t wait I don’t want you. To get sick or end up with damage to bone. Because now there is nothing they can do to fix it. The bone grafting I need is obviously very very expensive.
I am so sorry dentistry should be affordable for everyone.

Haha! While not something I need personally, you made me smile just because you are so genuine and I’m sure many people are really helped by this. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if society prioritised teaching kids from a young age to visit a dentist every 6 months so this wasn’t an issue.
OMG! The dentures the Medicaid dentist made me are way too big for my mouth & gag me so badly I gave up trying at all. Chewing with bottom teeth & no gums has deteriorated my bone so that implants aren't an option & I get a lot of jaw pain. This may save what's left of my jawbone & give me a chance at looking my age! Thank you SO much❤️

I have been using the lower Insta smile veneer fir 7 or 8 years now and it takes me 5 minutes to make one. i always have a spare in case it breaks as they are not as hard a porcelain teeth. I can eat anything I want with them using Fixodent. Corn on the cob, apples, steak, no problem. I have been trying to find a dentist that doesn't try to sell me implants or require 10 visits and a temp denture, all totaled, about $6000. I spend $15 for the lower and need a new one twice a year. My upper partial just cracked in half so i repaired it but it fits wonky now. I just ordered the full kit and thanks to your instructions, will be making my own upper, until I find an honest dentist.
Can you use this over natursl teeth i have an upper partial but i hate it anx would love a perfectly uniform smile bit im worried thag ontop of my ow theyll look horselike
@@anwhaaatPer the website and other videos I’ve watched and reviews on Amazon yes you can. Some suggest not putting so much of the adhesive on them or filing it down.

Hey everyone. I just want to remind you - your value as a human being isnt based on your lack of teeth! I cant believe i only have 4 left. Idk what happened. Maybe a medication? Im only 59. Ive lived with such shame until someone said "you are not your teeth". Those words helped me. Maybe will help someone here ❤

Just wanted to say thanks!! I got all upper teeth pulled and fell on hard times while trying to get my dentures. I'd used this temp denture when I had a few teeth but once I got those pulled I couldn't figure out how to get it to stay in without teeth to latch on to. What a revelation it was when you showed us how to create a pallet base out of the beads?!!!!! OMG. Mine stay in ALLLL day. Gratitude for calmly showing us how to do this. How many millions, yes millions cannot afford dentists!? When everything revolves around looks dentistry should be a given in supposedly the richest country! Yes these work, it takes practice and she makes it look easy. Take your time with the fitting and hold them until they start to harden. You are a Rock Star my lady!!!

I am so sorry. If you are like I am no insurance or money. Look online county health department. Will have dental clinics where you pay based on income. I three infected teeth. One of my teeth the infection spread. To the bone in my jaw. Luckily it didn't kill me. I see the dentist Thursday. To get them pulled. Please you are so young and I don't want you to get sick. Or something worse. Learn from my mistake. I am 50 years old. So 21 years older than you. With young kids who need you. Take care of yourself.
