Thinking about it, the only character that comes to mind as a close approximate is Albedo. Well maybe not close, but a bit reminiscent. Its definitely not the same.

Well based on this short list, out of the few anime that were mentioned, the ones i did identify it cant be said that theyre like Darkness. Being a masochist isnt really all that makes her Darkness its an aspect of her charm. But just to throw her onto a list of masochist and say they're like Darkness opens up such a wide scope that it gets away from my OP. Notice i loosely compared her to Albedo who isnt considered a masochist, but embodies an essence of a particular charm, and attributes, of reminiscent appeal. I see an individual's takeaway has alot to do with their perception of the character in this type ofdiscussion.
